When I first heard that I was a work in progress, I thought someone was telling me that I simply needed a lot of work to become great. But then I learned that you can be a masterpiece and you can be a work of progress at the same time. The fact of the matter is, being a work in progress is a wonderful thing. It means you are never completely “finished.” It means that you always have a chance to improve yourself and become something and someone better than who you were yesterday.
I’m not ashamed to admit that I don’t have it all together. And I’m not ashamed to say that I’m still learning. I make mistakes. The best part is that I am a work in progress, and that’s okay.
My challenge to you is to embrace the work of progress that you are!
Embrace the journey.
And remember that a little bit of progress each day adds up to big results.
