Drafting
by Samantha Thomson •
I’m currently in the best part of the writing process right now, as I continue to work through book two. For me, the best part is drafting. And this time around it is a lot easier since I’ve already created a world and characters that I love so much. I’m currently drafting book two of The Clearbrook Murder Mystery Series, which has already been a wild ride. I hope to do an official tile reveal soon so that you can be just as excited as I am! If you’ve read the first one though, then you’ll already know the name of book two, which is also pretty exciting.
Book two already has so many twists and turns planned that I can’t wait to share it with you! I love that this phase of the wiring process has kept me motivated and encouraged and honestly, is what made me fall in love with writing. Drafting for me usually looks like endless cups of coffee, my writing Playlist on repeat, and lots of mood boards to spark creativity. And of course my two helpers, Jasper and Zayna are never too far away.
